CS Industry Takeover Day 2026

Block off your calendars!! The IAB (Industry Advisory Board, that's us) is putting together the first (hopefully) annual Industry Takeover Day for October 8, 2026! It'll be a full day of talks and panels from tech leaders and local businesses about what's going on in the industry and what you'll be facing when you enter the industry.

• 12:00 - 12:45 - Lunch and AI-Focused Featured Speaker
• 1:00 - 2:15 - Local Employers Panel
• 2:15 - 3:15 - Dedicated time to check out the career fair
• 3:15 - 4 - AI + Cybersecurity Panel
• 4:15 - 5 - Closing + Student Q&A
• 5:30 - Closing Reception

Industry Takeover

We're working with local and regional employers on a career fair that will run in parallel with the conference so if a session doesn't speak to you, check out the career fair! It's always a good idea to see what's out there, especially in industries you haven't considered. You never know what might be a good fit for your skills and career goals. Talk to everyone!

Right now, the plan is to start the career fair at 10AM and go until around 4.
